Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club 2nd Championship Show 12 July 2009
I would like to thank the CBRC for inviting to judge this year where entries for the actual show were not down on last year as reported in the CBR Breed notes in July but up by 5...
The breed over all is looking good, heads are becoming more consistent and good mouths seem to be the norm now, coats are greatly improved, fronts have improved a lot also but, and it is a big but, those rears are becoming very close this goes all across the spectrum from winning to places in classes. With the exception of one all temperaments were very good. Surprisingly for the time of year coats were excellent
